We are the Village Idiot Pub, formerly Village Genius but the same Idiot is still running the place.

We know people want the name to come back – it’s in consideration. Originally in 2004 it was called the Gallery Bistro, but every good thing comes to an end.

 

Village Idiot was born in 2005! A good pub cannot function without an idiot!

We love our British style beers and pub style food!

We want everyone to feel comfortable coming to the Genius for beer, food or just a chat!
